For portraits, yeah. Occasionally use my 70-200 but I’m not that big a fan of zoom lenses. I much prefer the prime. And I use my wide angle for landscapes.

Hm well, I got into it when I was at school- my art teachers are probably the reason I even started taking photos and definitely why I continued. I think when I won a Queensland competition for a photo I took, it kind of gave me the confidence to go further.
I’m friends with the designer of God Save the Frock which is how I ended up doing her photoshoots, but I get other jobs through people coming across my Facebook photography page or through people simply talking.
I’d say the tips I have are to just keep experimenting with your camera and photoshop or whichever editing software you use, try shooting in all different types of day so you can learn to understand the sun and light, and set up a Facebook page if you are getting serious about it so you can promote yourself and get some exposure :-)
